Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:13-14
I really appreciate the realism of this verse. Paul doesn’t shy away from the fact that we won’t like everyone we meet and that there will be some we will have to endure! Sometimes we consciously need to choose to love; to put love on like a new set of clothes. Forgiveness is one of the keys to love. Ask God to bring to mind anyone you need to forgive.
