Recently, i've been reading a book called " Millies Unsettled Seasons " which is the first of eight fabulous books! The book is about christian faith in the 1830's, and the main character's name is Millie, who lives in Landsdale, Ohio, she is twelve and the eldest of eight children.

In this book, Millie's faith is really put to the test when she finds out that she has to move to an undeveloped state called Pleasant Plains, Indiana, due to her family's money problems.

Millie is upset about leaving, but she knows that somehow this is God's plan. So with her Mum, Dad, Aunt Welthy and her brothers and sisters, she packs up and leaves for a long journey to Indiana. When she first arrives, she is shocked at how uncivilized this town is, and to make it worse she has to live in a barn! Living in this new house is much harder than expected as she doesn't really know why God has brought her here.

Living in this place changes Millie in some ways, and helps her in others, but all in all, she learns to enjoy living in her new home, making new friends and drawing closer to God.

I have really enjoyed reading this book, because I feel that I can look up to Millie, and follow her examples. I would recommend it mostly to girls, and I think that whoever reads this will not be disappointed!

You can buy this book in a christian bookstore.
