LM5b 10 was probably the best week of my life, amazing people, amazing fun and super awesome amazing GOD! I went to LM5b for the first time last year and was blown away by God’s amazing love. It left me wanting so much more. I was really looking forward to going again this year and if you’re a member of ignite you may have noticed me counting down the days until camp on my status updates!!!

When I arrived at camp I was met by smiling faces and a warm and caring atmosphere. All the leaders were so nice and God’s love was bursting out through them causing me to immediately feel at home. The leaders showed us to our dorms of which mine was on the top floor of Lendrick Muir, so by the end of the week I had some serious leg muscle. My beast of a suitcase was so heavy I couldn’t carry it up the stairs by myself (I always pack way too much!).

Once we had settled in it was time for TEA!!! The food was so yummy! We were blessed with some awesome cooks. My all time favourite - sticky toffee pudding - made it on to the menu, and I’ve got to say there’s nothing quite like sticky toffee pudding at camp. The meal time banter was epic. MI6 (the group I was in) you are awesome.

The activities were great. I loved go-karting and didn’t crash once. I don’t really like heights but I was determined to get to the top of the high ropes (I had done it at Easter even though I was so scared I cried at the top). With the support of all my friends I did it again, and like a boss I might add! The girly girly that I am I papped out of trail biking (me and mud just don’t mix), but I played many games of nukumball - camp ain’t camp without nukumball!

One day Steve (ignite’s webmaster), came to visit. He joined us for dinner but was upset to hear he missed out on sticky toffee pudding. He advertised ignite and embarrassed me in front of the whole camp (I surfed to Sarah's ignite profile and I may have mentioned she was wearing the same tops as in her avatar - sorry about that - Steve), but because I’m nice I’ll forgive you Steve (Thank you!).

I am saving the best until last: the meetings. I loved the evening meetings, they were so powerful, and God had so much to say to me through the talks. I feel like throughout the week God was saying to me, “Trust me because I have it all planned.” God moved so much in my life that week and showed me that he has so much for me. I wasn’t sure if this year was going to be as good as last year but God totally out shone last year by a million miles. Once again camp left me wanting so much more of God and has helped me grow in my relationship with God soooooo much.
