With the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow in four years time the churches have formed a group to look at how it can play its part in the event. The aims of the group can be found at the bottom of this article but we are now looking for a logo to represent the group and its aims and we need YOUR help!
The Games will be an exciting event for the City and the Church and this is your chance to be involved at an early stage. We would like you to encourage your youth group to design a logo, with the best one being chosen to represent the Glasgow Churches 2014 steering group.
The competition is open to anyone under the age of 18 and can be entered individually or as a group. As well as the winning logo representing the Glasgow Churches 2014 activities there is a £250 prize for your youth group.
Entries should be sent to: Chris Plews, Presbytery of Glasgow, 260 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4JP or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
All entries should include an explanation of the design as well as your name, age, address and church you are linked to. Closing date for entries 7th September 2010
