Tuesday 17th November 2009 is the date of the annual Pray Day for Schools. Christians will gather in countries all over Europe to pray for our schools - can you join them on that day?
There are various resources to support Pray Day online on our Pray day for schools web-page.
Here are some suggestions as to what you could do:
- put up a poster at church or in school and host a special prayer gathering either at church, at school or in your home;
- send fliers to school staff inviting them to join you at a lunchtime or after-school prayer gathering;
- email prayer points round your prayer group asking them to make the day a day of focussed prayer;
- give fliers out to your SU group and meet at lunchtime on the 17th November, using the worksheets to collate their own prayer ideas
- invite some of your Christian friends, parents or grandparents round for coffee, leading in to a time of prayer for the school
As staff here at SU we will be stopping at lunchtime to pray.
Let us join together all over the land to engage in prayer for our schools.
