Where do you feel at home?
There is a place or places you feel at home, relaxed and comfortable. Other places you avoid because you feel unhappy, it's not your kind of place. That might be because of the people (they're so geeky) or the way you're expected to behave (they actually enjoy watching X Factor). ‘They're not my kind of people doing my kind of thing.'
People who follow Jesus Christ want eventually to live with him forever. He is their kind of person and they want to do his kind of thing. So, who will be in hell? People who could not stand heaven.
So, it is more like God giving people what they want. Although he desperately longs that people will want to be with him in his place. As a Christian my big aim is to get to know Jesus better, to be like him and to spend eternity with him; there can be nothing more important.
